Main Entry: Gyp·sy·it·is
Pronunciation: \ˈjip-sē-ī-təs\
Function:noun
Date:1537

1: the urge to roam freely, without a permanent home. Resembling a Gypsy ; especially : wanderer

Gypsyitis usually hits Mike after we have been somewhere for about a year. You know, just around the time you are starting to get comfortable with a place and you know your way around and have a few friends. He has never been able to stay in the same place very long. Which explains why we have moved 7 times since we have been married. Well, the time has come again for us to pack up our traveling caravan and hit the road in search of new adventures, places, and friends. We are modern-day gypsies!

Looking on the bright side: I have always wanted to travel and I am a very proficient packer.

Wow! And I thought we moved a lot.

I made my blog private a few weeks ago but I don't have your email. Are you on facebook?

The house everyone seems to have heard about is the "short sale" home. Unlike its name, the short sale takes a LONG time for approval and escrow. So our offer is still pending and we did not move into it. We moved to the same area as the house which was about 35 minutes from our previous apartment and in another city.
